Our Mission
Women With Purpose is a faith based women’s shelter located in Tijuana, Mexico.
Our non-profit organization exists to provide shelter, restore hope, and facilitate healing for women in Mexico who have experienced extreme abuse.
The Mexican woman has been taught by our culture to be patient, loving, and not to complain if she is in an abusive relationship.
Poverty and lack of education have left countless women shackled to their abusers. If these victimized women want to escape the abuse, typically there are no relatives to run to, no welfare, no shelter, no hope… just the street.
These women have been overwhelmed by poverty and abuse, and cannot remember the original purpose of their lives.
Women With Purpose is a safe place for participants in our program to recover at their own pace, grow in their specific strengths, and pursue their individual dreams.
